Stand by your man ??
The latest couple in the public eye to stand together after one of them has been caught cheating again is Tess Daly and Vernon Kay....she vows that she will "not let this woman ruin our maarriage".
But no other woman or man can ruin a marriage in this way if both partners are faithful.
This is the second time Tess Daly has stood by her man, would you give a cheater a second (or even a first ) chance? or is once a cheater always a cheater?

It was headline news in The Sun the other day. Why we all need to know what Vernon Kay has been up to is a mystery. Still, it's out there now.
Did the woman leak the phone texts to the press?

It's not like it's his first time! She is kidding herself blaming the other woman.

Re: Stand by your man ??
I doubt Vernon Kay did....what a creep he is though.
When lovely women like his wife stick to a cheater like him (for now at least) I always wonder why.
She earns more than him, is a lot more popular than he is, and apart from her lapse in judgment in allowing him to stay seems pretty clued up and nice.
I suppose she will stick by him till she realises she can do a whole lot better.
If I was in her shoes he would be out so quick he wouldn't see the light of day.

Some women do that don't they? they blame the other person, completely overlooking the fact that it's their OH who has been unfaithful to them, no one else.

Re: Stand by your man ??
Tess Daly is an idiot and clearly thinks by clinging on she can "fix" things.
She's either:
Insecure
Or
Hates losing
Some partners cling on even after being publically humiliated becaeue they don't like losing face.
And yes, by blaming the other woman (never understood this??!) she is removing any blame from herself.
A relationship is done from the moment someone cheats.

Maybe his acting work has dried up and he needs the publicity she is generating for him.

Cheryl Cole clung on to her waste of space husband (Ashley Cole) for ages didn't she.
In RL I know a few women who have done so....some, not all, do eventually get rid when they realise they are backing a loser.

Staying together may work out but I don't reckon I could be forgiving.
The grass is NOT always greener on the other side,
Sometimes it's the people you least expect who are cheating on their partners...and obviously it's not always the husband who has a wandering eye.
I would never open my mouth and tell anyone their OH is messing about either.
I think if it was me I would want to know though.

You'd think Oliver Mellor would be a bit annoyed that his fiance was prepared to reveal she'd been planning to meet another bloke just to get some publicity really. I don't think that relationship will last.

From what you have said about her I believe she would too.
Seriously, if my OH cheated I wouldn't want revenge, but I don't think I could carry on loving someone who treated me badly.
Easy to say because my son is an adult....perhaps when he was younger I would have felt differently...not sure.

Yes - he was the nice, handsome doctor who went out with Tina, but she dumped him because he wanted her to "better" herself.

I don't think you can call yourself a friend if you wouldn't let a person know they're being lied to and betrayed.

I don't think it's as easy as that. For one thing you would have to have definite proof....things are not always how they seem.
Probably if the innocent partner had suspicions and asked or hinted I would say something. If not I might say something to the cheater, but I don't think I would say anything to the wife (or husband)

I've already covered that when I mentioned her, above?
It's either about insecurity or losing face (desperation and ego)
And the "desperation" in the Twitter pic of Oliver in bed with Rhian was what I was talking about.

Perhaps he is just sleazy.
He gave an interview last year bragging about how he still loves his 'lads' nights out...(he is in his 40's) and they all refuse to take their mobile phones with them because they don't want to be disturbed. He says.."if anyone wants us they have to come and find us".
Very responsible attitude to have when you have a wife and two small children at home.

Yeah he's an idiot. I wouldn't ring or text my husband if he was on a night out - people want to enjoy themselves not be disturbed by their other halves - I'd only ring if it was entirely necessary, but I wouldn't expect my husband to leave his phine at home either.
He sounds like he needs to grow the fuck up.
