What else should/could be done IYOs?

Buy from organic farms.   It's not hard to locate one.   However, what bread line families can afford this?   It's horrible.  I believe that footage is in the US, but it happens here also.

It things like this that make me happy to hunt pheasant etc in season, rabbit and pigeon
along with the fact that its all far healthier more so even than organic stuff (since the organic place still use the same "fatty breeds"

and one has to ask, where do te organic farms get their chicks from....

I bet those chick farms still do the same as in that video

 It's pretty appalling to learn they all go into macerators.

I've read that male chicks are not used for meat as they grow too slowly.  However, capons, male castrated chicks, are fine for meat.  Organic farms in the UK do rear them and sell them as meat.   They're tastier and more tender than regular chicken.  You just have to search out the right farm.
