Some on here claim I talk nonsense about the high levels of immigration and the direct negative impacts of it.

Consider this...

Latest figures for immigration...

Immigration by Citizenship

All Citizenships British Immigration
617,000 87,000

Emigration
(Foreign leaving) (British leaving)
294,000 127,000

Net immigration
(Foreign arriving) (British leaving)
323,000 -40,000

While...

"...The National House Building Council (NHBC) said that 156,140 new homes were registered to be built in 2015..."

"...Estimates vary over how many houses need to be built in the UK, but most experts say that at least 250,000 houses need to be built per year..."

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/property/news/12127141/Fewer-homes-being-built-in-London-as-UK-house-building-falls-25pc-short-of-target.html

Cost of living/rents rising massively...

http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/buytolet/article-3274419/Rents-continue-rise-hit-record-high-816-month-London-paying-12-year.html

And with most immigration heading to London. ..

"...Londoners saw rents increase at the fastest pace compared to other regions, by 11.6 per cent over the past year, with the price for the average rented accommodation now at a record £1,300..."

(From same link)

And wages suppressed...

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/immigration/10560472/Immigration-suppresses-wages-says-Margaret-Thatchers-former-adviser.html

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3369760/Migration-DOES-depress-wages-low-skilled-poor-British-workers-lose-hundreds-pounds-year.html

And then there is the extra costs to public services...

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/10503178/Migrants-cost-up-to-8k-each-in-NHS-care-schools-and-welfare.html

All those arriving will put extra strain on public services and costs in one way or another... many will be an impact and cost on several of our public services at the same time!!!

Just the cost of one extra school place is around £6000 a year per child alone!!!

I'm sure most immigrants will work, thereby paying taxes.

as pointed out If You were not so crap you could easily fit more people without even taking up any more green space Just you'd have to grow up stop sucking and Actually work hard enough to cover Your wasteful lifestyles, which none of you want to do.
So you need to import migrants becuase the lcals do not work hard enough. Current economics show this is What is ACTUALLY true.

When Nelson gets his eye back.

Don't you understand even if they do take work it means we are having to pay benefits to one of our own whose job they have taken
Then they breed like rabbits, claim benefits and send wages across the ocean,
.

FGS wake up.

You don't seem to acknowledge the fact that the amount of white British scroungers in this country are the ones who are really bringing it to it's knees.

Most may well be intending to be working... but most will also be doing low wage work... and these low wages being paid will mostly be such low wages because of the huge numbers of them coming here to do it!!

Also... most being on low wages means that little or no taxes are paid on their earnings in the first place... and then compound this with the fact that many will also be claiming in work benefits/tax credits/child benefits/housing benefits etc... and then compound this even further with the fact that most will be sending most of the money away to somewhere else, out of circulation in our economy!

On top of the cost of the processing of each of them to various govt/authority depts etc... tax office/nat ins office/benefits dept/local council/GP/DVLA/school etc...

Then as stormee said... they are in many cases taking a job that one of the unemployed already here could be doing... which means that not only is the new arrival paying little or no tax on earnings, but we still have to pay benefits to the person who could have done the job!

Then we have the additional cost of living to everyone already here... the new arrivals all need somewhere you live... so rents increase with demand increasing...

Roads and public transport get increasingly busier too... longer more uncomfortable journey times and rising levels of pollution!

And let's not forget that huge numbers of these jobs they are doing are only the result of the immigration in the first place!!!

Loads of immigrants turn up... more housing needed... more of everything needed... jobs created to build more housing and to provide more food supply/public services etc... growth in jobs looks good to other foreigners... then more come... more housing needed... and do on and so on...!!!

Bit like the bird that flies in circles... faster and faster... until it finally disappears up its own arse hoke!!!

So to recap... mass immigration pushes up costs of living while holding down wages... huge extra costs to public services and taxpayer... most of foreigners earning such low wages that they not only pay little or nothing into tax system... but huge numbers also get large amounts out of system in benefits etc... but then most of all the money is sent abroad too and out of our economy!!

On the subject of low wages, that's up to the Government to ensure those who pay below minimum wage are prosecuted.
