The subject was broached in another thread which was subsequently locked..
I think we all agree that immigrants or foreign visitors should comply with UK law.
Does everyone agree that UK expatriots and UK visitors to foreign climes should similarly comply with those countries laws, even when it seems some of laws are an ass?

Yep, if you are in a country, especially as an immigrant, you should obey their laws, but we know those that don't eh Andy lol

I'm not sure, I guess.
But does this mean for an example that if someone comes to Australia they should really obey our laws or just obey them as much as people like me do?

Yes, I do believe that if you go to a foreign country you should comply with their laws even if you don't agree with them; agreeing with them is irrelevant.   If you cannot or are not prepared to comply with that country's laws then don't go or face the inevitable consequences Obeying the law. Jail11
