Wetherspoons pub evacuated after rat 'ran up trouser leg and ate a chip'

'I didn't know whether to laugh or cry' says customer who claims large rodent took a chip out of his hand and ate it.
A Wetherspoons pub was evacuated after a customer complained that a rat ran up his leg and took a chip out of his hand.
Shocked Reece Coombs was tucking into his meal with partner Lucy Wrenn when he claimed the rodent struck.
Staff immediately cleared everyone out of the Albany Palace in Trowbridge, Wilts. and closed it for half an hour.
A spokesman said they then called in pest controllers who found two rats in the pub.
