Almond milk
Does anyone else but it, drink it, like it?
I only like the unsweetened one. It's really nice. Very creamy and nutty.

I like it in tea and porridge and hot chocolate but I also love the taste of it on its own.

I love it and used to buy it but noticed a couple of ingredients were added to the alpro which I do not trust. Will look around for a better company.

Isn't it the same as soy milk? Trader Joe's sells soy milk with vanilla flavor. It's not bad.

Don't trust soy here at all. I used to love it until I found out it causes weight gain and a heap of other problems.

Re: Almond milk
Soy milk is debatable in a women's diet, that is, it's being debated over whether it's suitable for all women.
Soy milk is made from soy beans.
Almond milk is just almonds, mostly water and some added vitamins and a thickening agent - which is locust bean.

Re: Almond milk
My sister never liked milk, and you could never get her to try anything close to it.
What a pairing she and her husband make...he never liked eggs. He says that someone told him when he was little that an egg was the menstrual flow of a hen. Never touched them after that.
Makes sense...raspberries are the ovaries of the plant.

Re: Almond milk
Phytoestrogens in Soy Milk
Foods and beverages made from soy contain chemicals called isoflavones. These chemicals have estrogen-like effects on the body, so they are often called phytoestrogens -- that is, estrogen that comes from plants. The isoflavones can bind to estrogen-responsive areas on cells in the reproductive organs, liver, brain and other tissues. Although these isoflavones can mimic the effects of estrogen, in some tissues the isoflavones block the effects of estrogen.

coconut milk is a real thing, so is coconut cream and it's not a fad either since they have been part of Pacific/Asian cuisine for thousands of years.
it the base of hundreds of sauces and soups. ... and is NOT for tea and coffee
You may mean 'coconut water' which was a fad as it really just water

well in the case of Europeans and dairy cow milk,
Yes
cows are man made, dairy cows and European Humans in particular have evolved/domesticated each other through cohabitation and codependency.
Many Europeans (Approx 80%) have evolved to have a much higher population of enzyme lactase in the small intestines to break lactose down into glucose and galactose.
this isn't the case in Peoples (like Eastern Asia, it's less than 10%) that didn't spend the past 5000 years domesticating cows and at points only Surviving because they were consuming Cows milk. (that's why the rate is so high those that didn't/couldn't drink milk died/starved)

Had to do something. Cow's milk is sooo fatty and bad for you. But milk of some kind is too much of a staple.

Cows milk is for COWS.
Cows are man made, Dairy Cattle didn't exist before we made them and we bred them for milk for humans. it not as good for their babies as it would have been in the Auroch we domesticated them from.
it is for cows and humans now particularly Europeans that have a specific trait to consume it, because repeatable through out the Europeans ancestry those that didn't/couldn't drink cows milk died. and it what we have done long enough to have Physically evolved a deviation from other races. and for dairy cows to have been evolved into existence.
Historically many Europeans would have been weened onto cows milk while infants since dairy products were a large part of early Europeans diet.
Living with and drinking cows milk and making other foods with it using their skins for warmth etc, made us the monkey we are today.

Dairy Cows exist because of Humans bred them for Human Milk consumption, Fact!!!
doesn't matter what you want lies you want to make up.
the issue is You looking at it as Individuals, Individuals are Irrelevant to nature
go spend time in nature it give Not one shit about the individual.
ALL Dairy Cattle Exist to make Milk for HUMANS their babies are irreverent because we often take them away and kill them almost straight away.
So How could the Milk be for something that is dead?
