surprise, suprise! Empty surprise, suprise!

Taken from Facebook.

A group of people travelling in the back of a pick up truck in Raqqa were stopped by several members of Daesh. The group were SAS dressed in Burka's. They lifted their Burka's and blew them away with a selection of weapons concealed under their clothes! Congrat's to them.

Here you go Nicko

ELITE troopers disguised in full-length burkas launched a daring attack
on Islamic State headquarters.

The eight-man SAS squad used the female Islamic clothing, which
covers the whole head and body, to blag their way through an Isis-held
town and target a senior jihadi commander.Posing as the wives of Isis chiefs, the team travelled in a Toyota van driven by Syrian agents working for Our Boys.

The
SAS hit squad hid assault weapons, grenades and ammo beneath the black,
ankle-length gowns which have just a small hole for the eyes. After
the group found the house of the jihadi boss, its location and
coordinates were relayed to a US Air Force AWAC mission control aircraft
circling thousands of feet above. It passed the location to a US
Reaper drone, which seconds later fired a Hellfire missile into the
building, killing the Isis commander and several of his henchmen.Isis
fighters went out on the streets hunting the attackers. The SAS team’s
cover was blown and they were forced into a fierce battle with the
terrorists as they withdrew.

One source said: “The SAS team were moving back to their vehicles
after the missile had struck when the town went into lockdown. Gunmen
were on the streets stopping everyone, lining people up against the
walls and threatening to kill anyone who had helped the ‘spies’.“The attack took place in the early evening, about an hour before curfew, so there were still quite a few people around.

“Just as the British soldiers were getting back into a minivan
several gunmen ordered them to stop. The troopers ignored the warnings
and were about to drive off when the jihadis opened fire.“The SAS jumped out of the vehicle, lifted up their burkas and opened fire. It must have been a massive shock to the gunmen.

“One
was killed instantly and two others ran off. The firefight gave the SAS
just enough time to break contact with the Isis gunmen and escape.“We
later heard Isis fighters were putting rumours around the town saying
the ‘infidels’ had sent women in burkas to fight instead of men.”

The mission was launched three weeks ago close to the city of
Raqqa in Syria, where Isis has its headquarters. The high-ranking
target’s death was described by intelligence sources as a “severe blow”
to the terrorist group. The SAS have conducted dozens of
operations in Iraq and Syria in recent months. Sources said the elite
force is likely to increase the tempo of operations after the disclosure
that an extra 200 US special operations commandos arrived in Iraq last
week. The US troops will work closely with the SAS and SBS, the
Royal Navy’s special forces regiment, to conduct missions against
extremists inside both Syria and Iraq. One source added: “The SAS
will be sending more troops to fight in Iraq and Afghanistan now the
Americans have increased their numbers.“Their primary target is the individual who has been dubbed the new Jihadi John. He is at the top of the kill list.”

Perhaps ISIS won't be so keen on burka-clad females after this.

In Vietnam the Vietcong called them Ma Rung — the “phantoms of the jungle” — and later admitted they were the only troops they genuinely feared. But the Defence chiefs in Canberra didn’t all share the enemy’s hard-won respect for the dark and deadly arts of intelligent guerilla warfare.

the Real difference is that Even Our enemies Admit that Our SAS are the Best. only Britain ever claim the quality of British troops

the most feared troops in Afghanistan where the Aussie SAS Camel mounted snipers. the enemy is dead before they realise it is not a caravan of Bedouin

So one group of people say you are the best decades ago, even though they never faced the British version, and this is your bases for saying the Aussie version which was completely modlled on the British version and has not achieved anywhere near the comparability of the British one in terms of actions is better? The very fact most morder special forces have been adpated based off the British SAS is telling in itself how much better the UK SAS are considered some of the best where even many view our SBS as  even better. The Delta US force was very much moddled on the lines of the British SAS after the fiasco on the Carter Iranian situation.
Hoe does that work?

The poingt being missed here:

British SAS

Fact - Nearly ALL the worlds Special Forces base their military model on the British SAS. In fact, the USA's Delta Force was set up after the founder spent time attached to the SAS. The Delta Forces even uses an SAS organisational structure using troops and squadrons. It's often remarked that the sand beret is also worn by US Rangers but this was a recent development and in any case the Rangers are NOT the same kind of unit. It can be said with confidence that the world's most professional special forces is that belonging to Britain.
The Special Air Service is the number one fighting force in the world it is trained to perform equally well in all the fields listed for the SEALs, but is also trained by MI-5 and MI-6 for in-depth counter-espionage, more so than the SEALs. Physical competency must be of equal stature to the SEALs, to the degree that both special forces work closely together when necessary (Iraq and Afghanistan) and have good camaraderie.
The original special forces, all others are based off them. Should definitely be above the SEAL's.
They have different hen the seals

There did a whole series on this which you should watch and the Ninja got his arse kicked by the Spartan

This is just the simulated fight sequence they fed off their skills and weapons into a computer and the Spartan came out on top the vast majority of times. If you get a chance wtah cthe whole episode,

umm that doesn't make them better we saw your SAS and Improved them so yes they are modelled but like almost everything,  unbound by tradition we improved on British version Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

the Brit SAS are the Base line that Australia Canada NewZealand and the gurkas etc use to measure how far beyond the MINIMUM they are.. the Minimum being the base line that is set by the British SAS.

And note You will not find anyone Directly saying that Brit SAS are better than Aussies or Canada, Better than the USA yeah, but they don't even make the base line tongue tongue tongue tongue

Praise From our ENEMIES
something Britian rarely gets

When the Axis forces retreated to regroup, the Australians didn't wait in a siege mentality. Instead they went on the offensive; attacking enemy positions, stealing German artillery and then retreating back into the city like thieves in the night. Subsequently, the stolen artillery (known as 'bush artillery') was used against its creators.
The conviction of the Diggers even won them the respect of the Nazis. Major Ballerstedt, C.O. 2nd Battalion, 115th Motorized Infantry Regiment, wrote to his superiors:
" The Australian, who are the men our troops have had opposite them so far, are extraordinarily tough fighters. The German is more active in the attack, but the enemy stakes his life in the defence and fights to the last with extreme cunning."
The thoughts were echoed by a captured German officer struggling to explain how he found himself a prisoner of war:
" I cannot understand you Australians. In Poland , France and Belgium once the tanks got through the soldiers took it for granted they were beaten. But you are like demons. The tanks break through and your infantry keeps fighting."
The fighting style of the Australians made it very difficult for Rommel's co-ordinated attacks to integrate effectively. The Australians just weren't behaving as expected, and they took little time in noting how this was confusing their enemy.

In the words of Chester Wilmot: ' Berlin Radio made a fatal mistake in trying to jibe and scare the Australian soldier into surrender. The longer the odds Lord Haw Haw offered against the Diggers chance of getting out, the more heavily the digger backed himself."
