Finally Cameron gets tough on Integration.
Muslim women can be banned from wearing veils in schools, courts and other British institutions, David Cameron has said. The Prime Minister said that he will give his backing to public authorities that put in place “proper and sensible” rules to ban women from wearing face veils in comments which will reignite debates. It comes as the Government prepare to announce a series of measures designed to stop British Muslims becoming radicalised and traveling to the Middle East to join terrorist groups like the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (Isil). As part of the plans, ministers will pledge to outlaw gender segregation during meetings in public buildings amid concerns that some Muslim organisations are forcing women to sit separately. Nicky Morgan, the Education Secretary, will also on Tuesday announce plans to force schools to help stop teenagers travelling abroad to fight alongside jihadist groups such as Isil. Schools will be required to inform councils when pupils stop attending without any explanation and Muslim parents will be encouraged to carry out checks to ensure their children are not being radicalised.

Immigrants will have to demonstrate how they have improved their English after two-and-a-half years or face being deported, David Cameron has said. The Prime Minister admitted that the crackdown could see families being broken up.
the changes would apply from October this year to immigrants who arrive in the UK on a spousal visa.

Re: Finally Cameron gets tough on Integration.
Interesting points made by Muslims women:
The PM would have been delighted by the efforts of Bushra, 24 and a mother of one, who arrived on a spouse visa two years ago, and is making impressive progress.
"English is very important it helps me with everyday life. So that’s why I need it," she said.
"When I go outside shopping everyday, everything, it’s freedom - you don’t need your husband’s or any person’s help."
A question to her about the PM’s contention on a link with extremism was slightly lost in translation.
But with a bit of Bengali, and the question directed at the whole class, there was more sympathy for the PM’s views than might be expected.
"The Prime Minister is right," was the general response.
Two British-born Muslim women, Shabna and Nicola, said they were "shocked" by the suggestion of a link between language and radicalisation.
Amina said "it was really sensitive" and Nicola said "to put someone in the light of being an extremist just because they can’t speak the language – it’s not nice".
There was more sympathy when I explained that I thought that the PM was more making the point that lack of language skills created separation even within families.
But Jasmine, an arrival from Bangladesh, was very keen on the empowering value of learning the language.
Again these courses were not from the taxpayer, but funded by the lottery.

What the writer does not get is there is a link to extremism, in the view, that these women, not understanding the language are not taught basic human rights they have and thus remain sadly ignornat of them. Which then allows for extremist views like gender segregation to continue.

Mainstream media won't tell you this but Ultra-orthodox Jews also wear the face veil. Again, they are just a minority but media likes to implant into people heads that only Muslims do it.

Re: Finally Cameron gets tough on Integration.
Which is irrelevant to the Uk as this is a small group in Israel
The Haredi burqa sect (Hebrew: נשות השָאלִים Nešót HaŠälím, meaning "Shal(-wearing) Women"), is a religious group, primarily concentrated in Israel, in which ultra-Orthodox Jewish (Haredi) women claim that modesty calls for a burqa-style covering of the entire body, a shal (plural shalim, English shawl), including a veil covering the face. The garment, which looks more like a niqab than a burqa, is also called frumka, a play of the word frum (Yiddish for devout) and burqa. The group, which was estimated to number around 100 in 2008 and several hundred in 2011[update], is concentrated in the town of Beit Shemesh.

Which should also be banned in public places
