Glenn Fry,has died
Glenn Fry,has died the co-founder of Eagles, one of the biggest rock bands of the 1970s, in New York aged 67. Bandmate Don Henley praised Frey as the "one who started it all" for the Eagles. Sky News' Toby Sadler looks back at his life. His report contains flash photography.
very sad
first song i ever learned to play on on guitar was "taking it easy" i went on to learn many of his songs and its that music will live forever

That's sad - several well-known people seem to be dying in their 60s at the moment.
I think the press have to be careful about what they're reporting. According to some reports, Irving Azoff, the Eagles Manager, said that Glenn Frey's death can be blamed in part on the medication he was taking for rheumatoid arthritis, and that the colitis and pneumonia were caused by the medication.
However, according to another earlier report, Glenn Frey had had RA for 15 years or so, and yet had problems with diverticulitis in the 1980s and had an operation in 1990 - a long time before he started taking the medication. Frey blamed it on his lifestyle. RA can also affect the lungs.

Really? They were big in the '70s. I like some of their stuff but some of it was a bit too "country" for me.
Don Henley went on to do the marvellous "Boys of Summer", and Glenn Frey did "The Heat is on", which I liked.

Re: Glenn Fry,has died
Azoff has declined to name the medication which he blames for at least two of the causes of Glenn Frey's death allegedly because an attorney advised him not too. Well he would because the manufacturers could sue him.
It's highly irresponsible to say a thing like without proof that because there are several drugs which are used to treat RA, and now a lot of people who take medication for it will probably be panicking.

I liked "Already gone" best.
I have an Eagles LP, and I daresay a lot of others have one somewhere too.
