MOD says an enquiry will be set up into the accusation that British Soldiers ill treated Iraqi civilians. What the fuck is wrong with this Government ? There were a" few " British Soldiers ill treated as well, if you call being dead ill treatment. This comes on top of all the enquires about "Bloody Sunday". The Lawyers chasing our ex soldiers should be named and shamed. If this Hounding of our Armed Forces is allowed to go on we wont have an army, no one will want to join up!

Eilzel, they will never be under investigation, they are too "higher up"... IT'S already been proved that 99% of Iraqi claims were complete fabrication, I, and other ex servicemen want to known who's taking these claims on. "Ambulance" chasing Lawyers are looking to make a profit from Soldiers who are trying to put the horror they went through behind them,and the desk bound bastards want to put them through it again. The British (and American) "serviceman" went into Iraq on a mission to conquer another nation. Of course the people of the other nation fought back. They were 'freedom fighters', such as we saw during WWII, fighting for the freedom of their homeland.

Of course the British (and American) 'servicemen' "ill-treated" Iraqis...that's what they were sent to do. If it's a "fabrication", then they failed...and those are some piss-poor soldiers. The British (and American) soldiers kidnapped, raped, tortured and mutilated Iraqis wholesalely. Abu-Ghraib? The Mahmudiyah rape and killings? It's all documented...far too late to deny it now.

"Ambulance chasing" lawyers don't make money on reparation claims. You are trying to equate this situation to contingency-fee agreements in civil lawsuits. It's a bullshit equation. There is no 'fee' involved in reparations.

You're side-stepping the essential point, which means you are afraid of the real truth. Parsing between yanks and limeys is beside the point. You invaded another sovereign nation, and killed women and children. The invasion was unprovoked, which means you violated UN Charter Ch1, Art2, #4:

UN Charter Chapter 1, Article 2 wrote:All Members shall refrain in their international relations from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence [of another nation].

Define life experience. I've had a richer, fuller life than you or nicko will ever see.

The conservatives develop a counter-argument: The left are a bunch of pantywaist thinkers! Then, without thinking (of course), they start wars in their infinite lack-of-wisdom, and the run away like cowards when they lose...only, they never mention the losing part...the part about being cowards.

Yes, full circle, conservatives are cowards. There is a relationship...a variance between laziness and cowardice. It is: when you are too lazy to think about things, you get yourself into a shitload of trouble. When you get yourself into a shitload of trouble, you have to run away. When you run away from shit rather than confronting it, you are by definition, a coward.
