If you’re looking for a new podcast to listen to, I would highly recommend The Humanist Experience.
Taking on the style of a This American Life segment, it documents a year-long adventure in which Seráh Blain and Evan Clark “seek out radical experiences that educate our emotions and expand our world.”

The first episode involves the retelling of an event from 2013 when Blain attempted to live as a homeless person on the streets of Phoenix, which she did for nearly a month, in order to draw awareness to the problem and raise money for the Madison Street Veterans Association. (There’s a transcript available for those who prefer it.)
