Muslims are not a race, so this would be more on an ideology taking control of a country or a way of life.
Most people wish to have a secular life, one that provides or attempts to do give equality based on sound reason where religions are based on mythical beliefs.That is just good common sense, when it was once practiced before in the west such mythical beliefs as law.

It's really very odd. Ben often says that he doesn't like religious people trying to impose their will on others, but he doesn't seem to have a problem with these Muslims trying to get the school closed for a day because of their religion, even though other pupils are not Muslims.

There are a lot of different types of "opposing religious will." I would support Christians, Jews, Muslims or any other religious person asking that the school recognize their holidays by giving days off.

That, of course, deprives non-Christian kids of education on those days as well, but you probably never even considered that.
