Free trade SUCKS, Infinito Gold proves that no Country should have free trade

Infinito Gold, a Canadian mining company, just slapped Costa Rica with a $1 billion lawsuit because the nation decided to protect its rainforests rather than host an open-pit gold mine.

Costa Rica’s rainforest is lauded as one of the most beautiful in the world, and is home to many endangered species, including the green macaw. Officials considered approving the gold mine, but the use of toxic chemicals such as cyanide — which often leaks into and pollutes nearby lakes and rivers — was far too great a risk to allow the project to move forward.

A subsidiary of Infinito Gold has announced that a massive lawsuit against Costa Rica is “imminent”.

SO CALLED "Free Trade" agreements are only created to benefit big corporations ~ after all it IS those same companies that drew up the loaded and biased "agreements" in the first place. NOT our governments ! And THEN created the secret international business "courts" that are outside of ANY public scrutiny ~ but that our "company owned" governments agreed to bow to !!!

That "Infinito Gold" is famous for what they are attempting to do in Chile ~ trying to steal a $$billion$$ of public money ~ as they have attempted it before in recent years with other countries.. Apparently Gold Mining is only a "secondary" business for Infinito; while their main enterprise seems to be in extorting fake "compensation" via FTA's !

   Dissect and ANALYSE the figures for the last Oz election, and LESS than 38% of the voters elected the Liberal party (i.e. a vote for Abbott & Hockey..), and less than 17% voted for the Nat's and various fringe and extremist groups...

IF the voting had been "first past the post" the Lib's had less than 38%, and only a small majority of that Party even wants Abbott there ! However, as a conservative coalition, and under our "Preferential voting" system, those Tories ended up with nearly 54% of the vote and 58% of the seats (even though some of those are on very narrow margins..).

In recent polls, public support for the Lib/NP Coalition has dropped by 5% ~ enough to make them a "minority government" if an election was held tomorrow; and that would have then have negotiating with the cross benches !

They certainly DON'T have any genuine "mandates" to go about their raping and pillaging endeavours..
