Bradford teacher stabbing: Boy, 14, detained for 11 years for racially motivated attack on Vincent Uzomah

A 14-year-old boy who stabbed his supply teacher in a racially-motivated attack has been sentenced to 11 years’ detention.
Bradford crown court heard how the boy made “sick” boasts about the attack online in the aftermath when he was being hunted by police, and that he was on bail for another offence at the time of the attack. The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, admitted causing grievous bodily harm with intent when he stabbed 50-year-old Vincent Uzomah in the stomach shortly before the start of a science lesson on 11 June this year.
But his lawyers denied that he launched the attack because the teacher was black, arguing instead that he was “angry” his mobile phone was being confiscated. Prosecutors reportedly said that the boy, who is of Pakistani origin, wrote on Facebook after the stabbing: “The m*********** getin funny so I stick the blade straight in his tummy.”

The boy was Paki Muslim and The teacher was African overtly Christian... the boy definately also used insulting racist language towards the teacher during the attack...

The teacher has already forgiven his attacker.
The church in the US again black victims, again they forgive the attacker.
There is much to be said about some Christians.

This has been all over the news.

The racially motivated aspect of this has had very little media focus, and certainly not seen any of the media circus outrage around any of it as we would have definately seen if the boy had been white English.

I can find hardly any sources that don't mention race.

From the news reports that I have seen race was almost always mentioned.

In this country in certain areas this is true, but how it is created and is different to the white black racism we see.
I would say it is more xenophobia than defined racism itself, even with Africans and Afro-Caribbean we see the same.

I watched several news reports on this and never knew the boys ethnicity until I read the op on this thread.


If it was a white boy against a black or Asian teacher we would be hearing wall to wall coverage about how racist whites are.
