Munro, who died of heart problems in a hospital in Auckland, was a member of the RAF's 617 Squadron that famously conducted a series of strikes against Germany’s Ruhr dams in Operation Chastise, known as the Dambusters raids

Only just noticed this. Bomber Command lost so many men, RIP to a man who did so well. The way there was never a campaign medal struck for them was disgusting. RIP brave man, another Lanc Pilot like my Dad.
