Palestinian baby dies in fire 'started by Israeli settlers'
Suspected Jewish assailants attacked a Palestinian village in the West Bank early on Friday and torched two homes, killing a young child and critically wounding at least three people. According to the military, the suspects entered the village of Duma, near the city of Nablus, where they set the homes ablaze and scrawled graffiti, including "Long live the Messiah," "revenge" and "price tag." The attackers threw Molotov cocktails, or fire bombs, at the houses, the military said. The slain child was identified as one-and-a-half year old Ali Dawabsheh. His four-year-old brother and parents were among the wounded, according to Gassan Daghlas, a Palestinian official from the Nablus area. Daghlas said Jewish settlers broke the window of a house and flung a burning object inside, "causing a quick and huge fire." Daghlas said three people were wounded aside from the child while the Israeli military said four people were wounded. The discrepancy was not immediately clear.

This is an act of terrorism and Israel should come down hard on these extremists.
Whether Islamic or Jewish both sides have to crack down on these extremists, as there will be little chance for peace. Clearly this was done with intent to try and escalate a conflict.
I hope many Israelis also condemn this.

Palestinian Baby Burned To Death In Extremist Attack On West Bank Home
The 18-month-old boy died overnight Thursday after Israeli extremists threw firebombs into his family’s home, authorities said.
An 18-month-old Palestinian boy reportedly died overnight Thursday after Israeli extremists threw firebombs into his family’s West Bank home.
The attack, which happened in the village of Kfar Douma, also injured the boy’s father, mother, and 4-year-old brother, Haaretz reported. The father reportedly saved his wife and the 4-year-old, but couldn’t make it to the baby, who was identified as Ali Saad Daubasha.
Police spokeswoman Luba Samri told Reuters the attack had “nationalist motives.” She also said the attackers had written a slogan used by Israeli extremists on the walls of the home.
The attackers also spray-painted the words “revenge” and “long live the Messiah” on walls.

This is not an unusual occurrence, the only difference is this time a baby died.
The far right are growing rapidly in Israel, helped by the Jewish Home Party, whose member in the Knesset (and some of them in the Government) are Naftali Bennett, Uri Ariel, Ayelet Shaked, Eli Ben-Dahan, Nissan Slomiansky, Yinon Magal, Moti Yogev, Bezalel Smotrich
Quoted from Naftali Bennett: I've killed lots of Arabs in my life, and there's no problem with that.
Quoted from Uri Ariel (HOUSING MINISTER) "There will be just one state between the Jordan River and the sea, and that is the State of Israel." With reference to the ongoing settlement construction, Ariel added, "There are no [construction] freezes and there will be no more freezes - we won't allow it. We won't accept delays and restrictions [on buildings], not in Jerusalem and not in Judea and Samaria."
Quote from Ayelet Shaked (LAW MINISTER): asserted that “the entire Palestinian people is the enemy” and called for its destruction, “including its elderly and its women, its cities and its villages, its property and its infrastructure.”
The Knesset opposition parties are totally appalled that these extremists are members of the government. Because of it settlers have got more emboldened and violence is rising daily. The opposition parties are doing all they can, as are the peace groups, but faced with extremists in top government posts, there is not a lot they can do. Extremism has been on the rise in Israel particularly since the bombing of Gaza last year. It frightens the hell out of decent Israelis who see the rise of Lehava as a threat to themselves. Jewish people have always been liberal, Lehava would put a stop to that, and they are gaining ground. The more settlements, the more recruits to Lehava.

Update, it wasn't the only home they attacked:
Israeli settlers killed a Palestinian toddler and injured four others early Friday morning after setting their home ablaze near Nablus in the occupied West Bank in what the Israeli leadership called an act of terrorism.
Israeli settlers smashed the windows of two homes in the Palestinian village of Duma before throwing flammable liquids and Molotov cocktails inside, a local resident told Ma'an.
Ali Saad Dawabsha, one-and-a-half years old, was trapped in the house and died shortly after sustaining serious burns, said Ghassan Daghlas, a local official who monitors settlement activity in the northern West Bank.
His mother and father, Riham and Saad, and their son Ahmad, four, also sustained serious injuries and were evacuated to a nearby hospital, Daghlas said, adding that their home was left completely burned.
The Israeli settlers from nearby settlements also attacked and partially burned the home belonging to Maamoon Rashid Dawabsha, spraying racist graffiti in Hebrew across both homes, Daghlas added, giving no information on the fourth victim.
The homes were located near the main entrance to the village and the settlers were able to flee the scene quickly before residents identified them, Daghlas said.
Dozens of villagers from Duma rushed to help rescue the two families from their burning homes, witnesses said. The injured were later taken to Israeli hospitals for treatment via a military helicopter.
Musallem Dawabsha, 23, told Ma'an: "We saw four settlers running away keeping distance between each other. We tried to chase them but they fled to the nearby Maale Efrayim settlement."
The Israeli army confirmed the attack in a statement and said a search was underway for the suspects.
Israeli settlers have carried out at least 120 attacks on Palestinians in occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank since the start of 2015, according to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.
Attacks by settlers are often carried out under the armed protection of Israeli forces and rights groups argue Israeli authorities rarely make efforts to protect Palestinians from such attacks.
"The undeclared policy of the Israeli authorities in response to these attacks is lenient and conciliatory," according to Israeli rights group B'Tselem.
"Perpetrators are rarely tried, and many cases are not investigated at all or are closed with no operative conclusions."

Grandson of Meir Kahane arrested for burning baby; part of extremist network
As Israeli investigators release their findings that a right-wing Jewish terrorist network is gaining power throughout Israel and illegal West Bank settlements, an arrest has been made in the arson attack Thursday night that burned a baby to death and severely wounded his mother, father and 4-year old brother.
The alleged arsonist, who smiled and joked as he was taken into custody, is 24-year old Meir Ettinger, the grandson of the late Rabbi Meir Kahane, who was known for his racism and incitement against Arabs, as well as direct involvement in violent racist attacks.
His arrest came five days after the attack, and is the only one so far, despite eyewitness accounts that at least four men were seen running from the village after setting the house on fire with a firebomb and spraypainting it with racist graffiti.
As Meir Ettinger was taken into custody, police investigators told reporters from Ha’aretz newspaper that they suspect the involvement of a right-wing network that is based in Yitzhar settlement, in the northern West Bank, and has planned and carried out dozens of terror attacks against Palestinians.

If the world hadn't been watching, they would not have lifted a finger, as they haven't against all the other 'terror attacks' they have carried out previously.
