Tesco Has Banned Ribena And The People Of Britain Aren't Very Happy About It
On Monday, Tesco announced the sad news that Ribena, Capri-Sun and Rubicon will no longer grace their shelves.
The decision to remove the drinks was made in a bid to tackle childhood obesity, and will come into action after the kids have gone back to school on 7 September.
The move may have been welcomed by health campaigners, but naturally, the internet is outraged...

and here we go...lets tackle obesity
meanwhile the kids get scurvy from lack of vit c (which ribena is famed for...)
capri sun is crap
dunno about rubicon
I assume they will also ban "full fat" coke, and beer, and sticky cream cakes and all the "fast food" crap they sell
FFS if tescos took selling "obesity guilty food" seriously they would go bust...talk about cynical bandwagon jumping....

It's about tooth decay too. Ribera and Capri sun (also been in the news for having mould growing inside the pouches) are really full of sugar, yet mothers will innocently give it to their children thinking its full of Vit C

Ribena is great stuff!
Don't know about The others...
Poor diet, lack of dental hygiene, and other sugary foods And drinks are to blame for tooth problems.
Fizzy pop drinks like cola are much worse because of acid erosion.
As well as sweets and cakes etc...
Also I think crisps are really bad... just stick in your teeth and rot them.
Need plenty of calcium in diet plus plenty of other vitamins and minerals so as to be able to absorb the calcium properly.
If lacking in these then the body will still need calcium and will get it by stripping it from bones and teeth.
