Woman puts toddler with Down's syndrome in washing machine for a 'laugh'
A mother was reported to the police after she put a two-year-old boy with Down’s syndrome in the washing machine for a “laugh”.
Courney Stewart, 21, posted a photograph on Facebook showing an adult’s hand holding the washing machine door shut with the toddler inside.
She said that the boy, who was in her care at the time "loves the washing machine" adding "We took a picture and it was a laugh.”
However, neighbours reported the incident to the police as they were concerned about the child's safety.
“It was terrible to look at,” one of Ms Stewart’s neighbours in Erksine, Renfrewshire, told the Daily Record.
“For anyone, let alone someone who is also a parent, to take a picture like that and stick it on Facebook for a laugh is unbelievable. It’s no wonder people are angry about it.

Oh dear. She says he loves the washing machine, and perhaps he does, but shutting the door makes it looks terrible.

stupid stupid woman....
nearly everyone else in t eworld who owns a washing machine teaches their kids to stay out of them, indeed they (mostly) go to some length to prevent access
and here we have Mrs Moron actively encouraging a child to play in one...

Stupid and ignorant. As rags said, perhaps the boy loved it and found it hilarious but shutting the door? That's a no no and let's face it, we do teach kids not to go near most things in the kitchen.

Not to be anywhere near that woman would be a very good start I would say.
