Morocco women tried for ‘gross indecency’ for wearing dresses
Hundreds of lawyers have mobilised to defend two women in Morocco who are being prosecuted for indecency for wearing summer dresses in a souq. The two young women, hairdressers aged 19 and 23, were harassed by a group of traders as they walked through a souq, or market, in the town of Inezgane near the holiday resort of Agadir. They were taken to a police station for their own safety, but ended up being forced to stay the night and brought before a court on charges of “offending public morals”.
Their lawyer is now counter-suing some of the men involved for harassment.

It is very encouraging to see more and more Muslims standing up to the these daft backward laws.

When you've got these women being defended by Muslims from all over the region, why do you still think Islam is to blame?
Re: Morocco women tried for ‘gross indecency’ for wearing dresses
Because it Is Islam that is against them...

Okay ... then what do you make of the Muslims that are helping them?
Re: Morocco women tried for ‘gross indecency’ for wearing dresses
Islam would make examples of them... persecution, punishment, lashes, imprisonment, stoning, death etc... you know the drill...

You're going to have to explain how an idea can do anything on its own ... these women are being helped by people who believe in Islam. Therefore, this situation they're in can at best be explained as the actions of some Muslims, and it has to be acknowledged that other Muslims are coming to these women's defense.

And Islam is the problem here...
