Researchers found that the 19 people in the study who took 90-minute walks in a natural setting had lower levels of negative, repetitive thoughts about themselves, compared with another 19 people who took 90-minute walks in an urban setting. I know this is true from personal experience. There are two big nature reserves here in Texas that I've been to where you can hike so far out that you don't see, hear or smell any signs of human activity, and it's so tranquil, I've never regretted spending time there. I'd like to get to a few more of them.

I must admit I can't wait to get out of town and back to our house and gardens it is far more chillin' to hear the sounds of the country, birds chirping, than the endless drone of engines and people...

I would imagine for the countryside to be enjoyable for ben and dallas it would have to include some cottaging...
