What is naive about it? You've just basically repeated what I said. One could die of a single overdose of opioids even if one had never taken them before. I'm not saying he did, I'm merely questioning whether it was an overdose as such, or whether the drugs did indeed weaken his body as you've suggested, and that one more normal dose was too much.

He has left a legacy of music, just as others have before him and hence why we are speak of saddness to lose such a genius within music.
So whilst we all are sad at the loss of many people who have lost their lives (some we do not like terrorists etc), we are always going to view the loss more so because their music is also very much a major part of many of our lives.

I certainly can where it also becomes a part of our own history.
That is why music reaches out to so many people and how it can also shape our lives

Indeed we are all mortal and at some point we dioe, but it is how we live that we are remembered by.

Poor sod was in a cleft stick wasn't, be in bad pain or take prescription drugs that are more addictive than heroin and have everyone look down on you for taking them.   It's a quandry that many with chronic pain, that is very little understood, have to confront every day.
