Another one -- Rush on slavery:

"If any race of people should not have guilt about slavery it’s Caucasians. The White race has probably had fewer slaves and for a briefer period of time than any other in the history of the world."

While I don’t agree with these 2

Slavery was a far more complex issue than the US likes to make out
Like the fact MOST African slaves were bought from African Warlords and the only reason the people that became slaves and didn't get killed when the Warlord Raided was because Middle Eastern Traders said they would pay for them. Whites didn't get into the Act until later.

But the Idea that the Slave would have been happily living in Africa otherwise is complete fantasy; they would have been dead as they were on the losing side of a Tribal war.

Also the Barbary Coast was a huge slaver of Europeans and regularly raided for slaves throughout the Mediterranean and as far as Ireland until the European's developed better Naval Cannon. Ironically the enslavement of Europeans was stopped when the Spanish Enslaved South America (people forget the Ottoman were an expansive power in Eastern Europe at the time) because the wealth they bought back funded the development of the Colonial Navies that Stopped the Ottoman move West and went on to Conqueror the world.
