Around 8,000 were at the game, another good crowd considering Hearts had played host to Hibs 24 hours earlier in the traditional new year game, a match which attracted 500 fewer.

This time, Hearts defeated Spurs fairly comfortably, winning 3-1 with goals from Charlie Thomson, Bobby Walker and Tom Lorne.

Tbh Irn, I'm pretty sure the Hearts squad of the eighties would have beaten Sours in the same era.

Mind Dundee United Drew 2-2 with Man United...and that was with Gordon Strachan scoring for Man Untied!

1902 was also the last time that Hibs won the Scottish Cup and Buffalo Bill was 56 years old.

That one always gets the Hibbies in a spin Laughing

And remember that Dundee Utd. turned over Barcelona as well. Great team they had back then.
