Post by Guest Tue Apr 15, 2014 7:37 pm

In 1983 the Boston Celtics were sold for $17 million.

Does anyone know how much $17 m in 1983 would be worth in today's money?

Well, you'd have to find what the inflation had been from then until now and times it by that amount.   I wonder if google would give you the inflation, bet it would but Ben's link is much better.

Men always exaggerate the length, the height, the width the weight so why can they not do the same with inflation.

That is precisely why a gentleman is unable to park his vehicle i. e car without the parking sensors being enabled. Bang bang or is it bang Timothy ::dunno::

To a gentleman 6 inches is more like a foot............... No spatial awareness............

That has to be my fourth strike...............

i am out of here

That's at least your eighth strike! Then again, I'm probably exaggerating Smile
