It was locked because Andy insisted upon re-editing the headline after I changed it. Theft is a crime and we shouldn't be accusing people of committing crimes in our headlines that they haven't been charged with committing by authorities -- that's libel.


That is Ben's explanation.

So Andy should have said IMO she is a thief.

Ok.

I'm not saying the girl is a thief, but I'm not sure Ben was right to lock the topic either.

Why not set the forum so that only he can edit thread titles?

Ben has the right to censor anyone its his forum. Lefties love censoring free speech and I'm pleased he fulfils the RWers stereotypical mage of a lefty.
