Abu Hamza's son arrested by police investigating Park Lane bouncer murder

Police investigating the murder of a bouncer outside a New Year's Eve party have charged the son of Muslim cleric Abu Hamza with firearms offences.

Imran Mostafa Kamel, 26, has been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear or danger and possession of a firearm when prohibited for life.

Kamel is also being held as a suspect over the bouncer's murder.

His arrest came after a separate incident at Fountain House in Park Lane, Westminster, where Tudor Simionov, 33, was stabbed to death at around 5.36am on Tuesday.

Kamel will appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
