Re: Who Is This
OOPS, sorry about messing up on your 'coonskin hat' image...I really thought it was Daniel Boone and never gave it a thought it could have been Davey Crockett --- my apologies to you Stormee!

This is the only date {January 1, 1925} that was written at the bottom of the image; Stymie is the little colored boy - he was notated in the Black American History article I was reading.
How about this young crew? Name their character names and their real names if you are 'SUPER FANS'...LOL

It's unfair. They'll never get it. It's Janet Suzman, playing Lady MacBeth. I'm not familiar with her, but some say she was the best Lady Mac against a field that included Vivian Leigh, Judi Dench, Simone Signoret and Glenda Jackson.

She is a famous actress....not so hard to guess so it was fair..
She has been in lots of films, TV and theatre.....one of her most famous roles was playing Alexandra in the brilliant film "Nicholas and Alexandra.".....well done OQ.

Re: Who Is This
She has a knack for the classical roles...Twelfth Night, Anthony and Cleopatra, Nicolas and Alexandria and Wars of the Roses...as well as Eleanor of Aquitaine, in The Zany Adventures of Robin Hood, according to her filmography.

Re: Who Is This
She was brilliant also in a film where she starred with Michael Caine. They played husband and wife with a son who had been kidnapped.
It was very suspenseful....cant remember the name but it has stayed with me for a long time.

Zooey Deschanel, daughter of a famous cinematographer and director Caleb Deschanel. Brits know her because she starred in Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy, a famous book that originated as a BBC series.
I still don't know if yours was Oprah, Stormee. I gather it was since you are posting another picture???

Re: Who Is This
NP...seriously I was hoping someone could help me out; all I knew for sure was alfalfa on the left --- then spankie --- and then stymie! They were one set of the original OUR GANG kids from the TV series/movies...circa 1932! The news article was about Stymie and didn't say anything about the others! And I know that the little girl doesn't look like Darla.Stormee wrote:Why thank you Aspc, twasn't necessary as long as we keep the site for a bit of fun.aspca4ever wrote:OOPS, sorry about messing up on your 'coonskin hat' image...I really thought it was Daniel Boone and never gave it a thought it could have been Davey Crockett --- my apologies to you Stormee!
