A TEENAGE boy cried "help, help" after allegedly being lured to his death and ambushed by knife thugs in the middle of the night.

Cops launched a murder probe after they were called to Great Lever, Bolton just before 4.45am today.

The teenager, named locally as Reece Tansey, was rushed to hospital with several stab wounds and he later died from his injuries.

Cops today said the victim had staggered to a house after being attacked near a primary school and desperately knocked on the door for help.

Residents told how the teenager was left covered in blood following the attack.

Apparently he named all 4 of his attackers before he died...

Article says he was lured outside of his house... Effectively tricked into coming out and then jumped on by four others and stabbed to death.

Two boys aged 14 and 15 have been charged with murder.

Good question Syl. Sometimes I think we need to look at the parenting of these teens who are out at night, carrying knives and walking the streets.

What a horrific ending for a kid who was essentially a child. And to think other children did this to him ...

It feels like there's a poison in society sometimes.
