Are we training our enemies?...

Just been on youtube and  watching a bit of the clip where Labour MP Paul Flynn is ejected for arguing  that this government continue to keep some of our troops in Afghanistan, until we pull out next year...

I have wondered this for ages,it's  a worry ,it  might not happen, but it certainly can...the Afghan and Iraqi armies which the US, Britain and other allies trained can turn on is one day in the future, after being taught our military techniques, combat, use of weaponry etc...I've wondered this a long time, but even if weapons keep improving, they still have much of our know how.

I'm glad we have helped countless citizens those countries have a better quality of life, but when we pull out altogether, I think the trouble from the Taliban and other terrorist organisations will re -surface.

But is really hope what Paul Flynn says does not come true.

we only give them last gen equipment. There was a little bit of debate about giving so particularly loyal Afghan units better gear but think it was denied
