This is the shocking moment a teen girl is pushed off a bridge by a friend, even though she admitted she was too scared to jump. The horrifying video (on Link) shows Jordan Holgerson, 16, standing above Moulton Falls on the Lewis River in Yacolt, Washington, with her friends gathered behind her.

'No, I won't go in,' Jordan can be heard telling her friends as they try to pressure her to jump off the bridge.

She tells her friends 'no' a second time in the video, but the group still rallies to get her to leap.

Then, suddenly, one man asks 'Ready?' and a female friend is seen shoving Jordan off the bridge.

The teen fell 60 feet into the water below, landing with a horrifying thud as her friends gasped.

'Oh, that's so f****d,' someone can be heard saying off-camera.

Jordan, speaking from her hospital bed, revealed that Tuesday was her first time on the bridge.

'In midair, I think I might have blacked out,' she told KGW8. 'But I was aware and awake when I hit the water.'

Jordan said someone immediately swam out to rescue her after she hit the water.

She was then rushed to PeaceHealth Southwest Washington Medical Center in Vancouver, Washington.

Genelle Holgerson, the high school student's mother, said Jordan suffered five cracked ribs and internal injuries after she was pushed off the bridge on Tuesday.

Jordan also suffered a bruised esophagus, an injured trachea, air bubbles in her chest, and a punctured lung.

It seems young people need as much supervision as their younger siblings.

Great "friends" she chose, aren't they !?! I certainly wouldn't be labelling them as "friends"..

One can only hope that the police will arrest, and charge, the two people directly responsible for pushing her (both the woman who pushed, and the man egging her on..) -- with both assault, and endangering life.

I don't think anyone should be charged
She is on the wrong side of the rail in swimmers, she got up there to jump

it looks like the dude in board shorts was or had too.

in the old days the Life guards at Parramatta Pool would push you in if you climbed the diving boards  and proceeded to try and chicken out. (there is only one ladder and that's full of people coming up)

Agreed

She is lucky to be alive wolf. It could have easily been a broken neck at that height and she was lucky to get away with broken ribs. Irresponible to push someone from such a height.

How stupid. The girl was obviously contemplating jumping in but wasn't ready, so pushing her in would make her panic. Perhaps that's why she landed awkwardly and had so many injuries.

She was contemplating jumping, but maybe chickened out. Her friend should never have pushed her though.

I know that. but she shouldn't have taken so long... Cool

back in your day (even my day) this sort of thing was nothing much, no one got arrested for pushing a friend into swimming hole from a 'jump point' even if they did land badly.

This is thread is real Snowflake generation on show snobby
