A great historian; and sometimes able to articulate his argument extremely well- but one of the most arrogant, obnoxious prats I've ever seen on QT (not today, didn't watch, but I've seen him before and he is odiousness personified...).

A couple of times there were mutterings of disbelief from the rest of the panel and the audience. I don't like Galloway, but he ripped Up Starkey for arsepaper.
Starkey's views on women, sexual assault and rape were abhorrent. He cannot actually believe what he says, he says it just to provoke and antagonise.

It is common knowledge that Starkey gets his physical needs from other men - no problem with that - but his contempt for women is beyond the pall.

Starky is a prick I agree and I'm nothing like him for the record. I'm a lot taller with a northern accent indeed I can think of no similar characteristics whatsoever. The programme is normally full of left wing pricks clearly he is the token RWer this week. I don't watch it, it is far to biased. The Bolshevik Broadcasting Corporations excuse for a debate.

A strong determined man could quite easily overpower a petrified woman without needing to use violence

How does that excuse Andy's comment though?

I can't believe you didn't condemn his disgusting comment and merely just blithely refer to Starkey

I believe Starkey to be wrong but Andy's comment was so low, but hey that's ok, it doesn't matter at all really cos Starkey's an arsehole, right?

Starkey needs a demonstration, anally , without consent to show what rape is, how disgusting it is, and how abhorrent everyone finds his opinions on women.

In Starkey's warped mind, consent is immaterial. It is only rape if it hurts, or pain is deliberately inflicted.
