though the mods arent exactly known for their integrity and the rules are more of a rough guideline than actual rules

I imagine that it would be a pointless exercise to remind you that at the time of the Labour leadership contest, sitting Labour MPs who were deemed not to be insufficiently enthusiastic in their obeisance to Jeremy Corbyn were subject to a veritable barrage of death and rape threats from internet trolls whose criminal activities were clearly being not only condoned by, but orchestrated by the Momentum faction.

Exitus acta probat (the result justifies the deeds) as Ovid wrote. Or put another way, the end justifies the means. Was not that a Marxist mantra?

After that assertion, you will have to provide an evidential lik to prove Momentum were behind any threats.

It was hardly the YMCA, was it?

The complaints were made by Labour MPs, not by some shadowy Tory practitioner of the black arts of spin doctoring such as, er, Charlie Whelan or Damien McBride.

So far as I am concerned, I couldn't care a fish's tit whether this "social media" stalking and harassment is being carried out by RW Tories or LW Labourites.....it's a criminal offence and those guilty of it should have their collars felt by Inspector Knacker.

But after that cloae call of a grave miscarriage of justice against a rape claim today, caused by corrupted coppers, I am starting to lose faith in the honesty and integrity of the Old Bill.

I read that and agree.

"Inspector Knacker" was the satirical magazine Private Eye's "shorthand" for the criminal prosecution system in general...and after all, someone has to bring criminals to justice, warts and all.
