Two 14-year-olds arrested on terror charges in peaceful North Yorkshire town

Counter terrorism police have arrested two 14-year-old boys on suspicion of plotting an attack from a peaceful market town. The teenagers are being held on “suspicion of preparing for an act of terrorism” under Section 5 of the Terrorism Act 2006 after intense police activity in Northallerton, North Yorks, over the weekend.

They have been transferred to police stations in West Yorkshire where they are being questioned.

The police search has centred on a garage building with a blue metal shutter door in the town's Romanby area.

Residents spoke of their shock that a terrorism operation had been launched in such an unlikely setting.

Since the arrests on Saturday, there have been numerous searches were last night ongoing at several properties in North Yorkshire, but police have not specified their locations.

Kids younger than that are getting snipped and zipped, don't recall you calling their experience into question on that issue

The question to ask is why is this going on and their parents not reading any signs? Or their friends, siblings etc?

Their clearly is a wall of silence going on.

Or are they complict in driving this hate?

Most 14 year olds are at an age where they are going through changes, ones that should be steering them onto a brighter future. Ideologies indoctrinate those most vunerable and become susceptible to fear based hate.

The question to ask, is why was nobody questioning the ideologies they were following?

unfortunately teens are the easiest to recruit, always have been and always will be. they are simply not experienced enough to see through the rhetoric of those that would exploit their naivety
