Man jailed for 'horror' hammer attack on police. A man has been jailed for life after he attacked two police officers with a hammer. Jamshid Piruz, 35, lashed out at constables Jessica Chick and Stuart Young with a claw hammer during a break-in on January 7, 2016.

Piruz was previously jailed in the Netherlands for killing a woman.

SIMPLE...we institute a visa system like the states...and NO-ONE with a criminal record gets one....

those below face a 5-30 year ban, depending on the level of crime they were convicted for...

we have quite sufficient criminals of our own thank you...we dont NEED to import any more....

We should never allow foreign criminals convicted of serious crimes entry to our country.

If a man murdered his mum, due to drink, drugs, depression and served his time then comes out, gets a job and gets married, has kids etc....can he go on a family holiday?

No...some things have "consequences attached....murder...regardless of "excuse" is one of those things

Being allowed entry into another country is a privilege... granted by that country on their terms and conditions, and at their discretion... it is not a 'right'...


Preventing foreign criminals from being allowed entry to our country is about protecting our citizens and about our national security... it is not about punishing the foreign criminals (who I, quite frankly, couldn't give the slightest toss about!)...


I wouldn't even want this twat being allowed into our country for a day trip... but as eu free movement rules stand, he can come and go as he pleases, and stay and live here as long as he likes... as can countless numbers of other dangerous eu foreigners...


Try telling the parents of Alice Gross that it wouldn't be fair on foreign convicted murderers to bar them entry to our country...!

Someone being allowed to travel by their home country is one thing... but it should be up to the country they want to travel to as to whether they decide to allow them entry or not!


And we as a country should not be allowing entry here to any foreign criminals!

Pulling up one or two examples of a policy gone wrong doesn't mean the whole policy should be scrapped.

There are plenty of reasons why we want an end to eu free movement...

A country should be able to vet/refuse entry to serious/violent/dangerous convicted foreign criminals!

You know you can't have one without the other. If you get rid of free movement, you place a barrier in front of the success stories and the horror stories just the same. You have to decide if one makes the other intolerable.

the answer in the case of the USA is no.

I am pretty sure you'd be denied a visa here too. ours is a little less black and white and there is an appeal process etc but generally I think it would be no

Where the UK EU is wrong is that all the EU members are still treating each other like separate nations instead of being states in the one union. SO it means there is not controls over entry into the EU which there probably should be.
they just did it wrong, took away and stopped paying for border control instead of just redirecting those funds to the EU border, this is probably due to the hillshepehrds whining over sending fund to the EU.. I'm pretty sure the likes of 'Britain first' have cut off their nose to spite their face with their total devotion to hillshepherd politics. they couldn't accept poles or bankrolling the Greek(etc) border crossings, so now they have anyone that want to cross the border.
