The RNC Just Pulled Trump’s Campaign Funding

It is possible that we, as a nation, are witnessing a moment that will be written about in history books for generations to come. In the hours since the audio of Donald Trump bragging about sexually assaulting women was released Republicans across the country have pulled their support for the presidential candidate; but, the fallout has not ended there. According to new report by Politico, the Republican National Committee is halting funding for their own candidate.

In an email from the RNC to a victory program mail vendor, with the subject line “Hold on all projects,” the committee asked the vendor to “put a hold” on mail production.
“Please put a hold/stop on all mail projects right now. If something is in production or print it needs to stop. Will update you when to proceed,” Lauren Toomey, a staffer in the RNC’s political department, wrote in an email that was obtained by POLITICO.

To be clear, this is an unprecedented move. Never in history has a major political party suspended the funding for their candidate with four weeks left until the election. Donald Trump has literally alienated the only people that he should have been able to unequivocally count on. By pulling his funding, the RNC is essentially handing the election to Hillary Clinton, but that is what it seems they have to do for the sake of their party’s future.

Democrats have been saying for months that Trump would be the downfall of the GOP. He is a racist, xenophobic, sexist bigot who apparently likes to assault women because he is famous. The Republican Party should have seen the writing on the wall months ago, instead they chose to ignore it and toe the party line–now it is coming back to bite them in the ass. But, hey, that’s what happens when you throw yourself into a basket of deplorables. They will get no sympathy from us.

You must be pretty low on the ratings when the Sun ignores you.

Yep, and now the judge has set a date for his trial for underage rape.  16th December.
