Because we become accustomed to seeing the 'NORMAL' little petite bodies of the Russian/Chinese/Japanese and other Asian young girls competing in our Summer Olympics'. Those girls are barely 12 years of age if at that; when we see our American Team or the young 22yr old from Mexico the lesser thinking public with zero filters and access to their MEDIA source just can't wait to Body Shame those hard working young ladies for their appearance!
Good Grief - sorry assed losers; would love to see you try to do what she's been doing to make it 31 first out of all those 100+ that competed in Rio! Evil or Very Mad

Gymnastics will be one of the highlights of the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio. For this week’s Olympians segment on “Americas Now” we introduce you to a gymnast hoping to both soar and score big at the Games. Meet Alexa Moreno.

Gymnastics is one of the most competitive sports in the Games and one of the most fun to watch. It requires strength, agility and absolute precision. And Alexa Moreno has fulfilled her dreams by vaulting her way into the Rio Games.
When she’s not practicing or competing Alexa studies architecture. One day she wants to build gymnastics work-out facilities.

Olympic gymnast is body shamed, Twitter fights back

A Mexican gymnast who just competed at the Rio Olympics has been targeted by cruel body shaming comments — but fortunately they were soon overshadowed by inspirational and positive messages.

Alexa Moreno, 22, competed in the uneven bars, floor exercise, beam and vault discipline at the artistic gymnastics qualifications.
She finished 31st, an excellent result for a discipline in which Mexico is largely unrepresented.
However, the usual suspects took the chance to body shame her on Twitter:

"Alexa Moreno has the body of two gymnasts, a diet before going to Rio could have been good" (this tweet was also deleted).

However, the majority of people then took to Twitter to praise the athlete and express their admiration for her:

"An athlete like Alexa Moreno changed my life when I was a little girl and believed that you had to be very skinny to be a gymnast."

"Congratulations to Alexa Moreno, Mexican athlete."

To those body shaming #AlexaMoreno from their sofas at home, she has achieved more at 22 than you probably will in your entire life.

In an interview with Americas Now on CCTV channel, Alexa Moreno said: "Gymnastics is a sport that requires you to have it all: flexibility, coordination, strength, velocity. "Gymnastics is a sport for brave people. You need to be dedicated, have a strong will, and lots of persistency. I won’t stop until I have reached my goals."

Have you seen the little girls in China's training Schools? Ages from 4yrs up, crying in pain from what their "instructors" are doing to them, twisting their little bodies into shapes they were never ment to be in?
