Nigel Farage Resigns

resigned as the leader of Ukip just two weeks after Britons voted to leave the European Union, adding that he “couldn’t possibly achieve more”.

At a speech in London, Mr Farage, who was elected as an MEP for the party in 1999, said he had never wanted to be a career politician and was standing down. He has had two stints as leader of the Eurosceptic party since 2006.

“I now feel that I’ve done my bit, that I couldn’t possibly achieve more,” the 52-year-old added.

the great Irony being their biggest complaint is Immigrants that come over and not knowing and following every little nuisance of the culture.

You should be welcoming Brits as you're so keen on multiculturalism. After all, a couple of Americans, Aussies, and one Scot isn't really representative of a "multicultural international forum".

If it were not for NF we would not have got the vote to get out of the EU.

They're too hardcore. I mean really bad. You just have to google Eid Slaughter to see for yourself. I was in Cairo one Eid and I saw it first hand in the outskirts of the city, blood literally running in the gutters and bloody hand prints all over cars etc. It was medieval.

Why compare his name to the National Front then? That implies you think he's associated with those people and by association so is everyone else who supported his Leave campaign. That's what it looked like.

I see that SM has compared that kind of slaughter with any slaughter of animals on the Eid thread. I don't agree. British slaughter houses stun the animals first, if they don't they get prosecuted. I'm tempted to post the photo I saw of a camel being slashed on the neck with a machete, the wound was about four feet long and the animal was screaming as it tried to escape. How one can compare that to what they do in a slaughterhouse, I have no idea. I guess it's de rigueur in Halal slaughterhouses. Vets say unstunned cattle take from 20 seconds to lose consciousness, sheep six or seven seconds and poultry seven or eight seconds, but all these times can be far longer. One can only imagine the screaming that must go on. However, I read somewhere that some halal slaughterhouses do now use stunning as part of the killing process.

No offence to Jane, but she doesn't exactly debate many issues. More Americans doesn't make it multicultural. I'm sure the Cambodian made a huge difference.
