Jehovah’s Witnesses have released a bizarre, disturbing video teaching kids to be homophobic.
The video, which clearly had a high budget and inspired by Pixar, shows a young child ‘learning a lesson’ from her bigoted mother about same-sex marriage. It is part of a series of videos teaching children about the scripture, called ‘Be Jehovah’s Friend!’
It shows a young girl coming to her mother saying she drew her family in school. Her friend Carrie, who has two moms, told the girl that her parents are married. Her teacher even told her that it doesn’t matter as long as couples love each other and that they’re happy.
‘Well…people have their own ideas about what is right and wrong,’ the mother goes. ‘But what matters is what Jehovah feels.’
She says in the video Jehovah, who ‘invented marriage’ as between one man and one woman, has his ‘standards’ to get into heaven and they ‘haven’t changed’.
‘It’s like going on an airplane. What would happen if someone wanted to bring something on the plane that wasn’t allowed? It’s the same with Jehovah. He wants us to be his friend, and live in Paradise forever!’
The mother then tells her daughter ‘people can change’ and then asks about what ‘she can do’ to spread the message of Jehovah to her friend Carrie.
‘I can tell her about the paradise, and about the animals, and about the resurrection!’ the daughter goes.
‘Awesome!’ the mother responds. ‘Let’s practice.’
The video says it was produced by the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York, a Jehovah’s Witness organisation.

It does matter... because the truth is that the child will have been born to a mother and a father... as all children are...


It may be one real mum and her lesbian lover pretending to be mum too... or maybe neither are the child's real mum... but child wouldn't exist without the input of the fathers bit...

Why lie to the child is one question... but why try to force other children to believe a mixed up falsehood too...!?

but if the truth matters than surly it is more import to be 100% clear that God did not invent marriage definitely not the Christian god as there are Gods that were married 1000's of years before any one conceived of Jehovah, in fact marriage is probably older than Jehovah incorrectly claims the world is.

If you want to demand the truth it need to be equally, so it has to completely ban the bible being suggested as fact.

If things were equal... the school would not be only spouting one load of bullshit!!!

You could ban the teaching of the Bible in schools, but that's not going to stop some parents doing their own teaching is it?

It's not brainwashing, it's simply giving a different point of view.

Having said that, I don't like the video - the mother is basically telling the kid to start lecturing her mate with two mothers, and it's really none of her business. She was free to tell the kid that she didn't agree with her teacher of course.

Lots of children have two "mothers", if they're lucky, when their dad remarries (which happens a lot after divorce, which happens a lot after marriage lol), so for starters your claim is rubbish.
