Doing my chickens chores at 6am - trying to provide those heavy feathered hens with some cool soil to lay in - shady areas under a tarp when the suns movement goes past the Paw-Paw trees - keeping fresh clean water - putting fans in front of the nesting boxes so they'll keep laying eggs!
This morning, their treat was: frozen peas & carrots and 2 sacks of frozen corn ...figured it's the least I can contribute since they give me such lovely brown eggs, even in this horrid heat.

Actually the bin men annoyed me today. They told me my black bin for "black bag rubbish" Rolling Eyes

wasn't "smiling" but "grinning" so they couldn't accept it.

If your bin has too much rubbish in it and makes the lid raised slightly to a "grinning" position then they won't take it.

Yes, and I'm getting really PISSY about the entire situation; got my hopes all built up, did some really nasty chores - sat aside the time frame, got all situated and snuggled in - laptop/tablet/TV all ready & positioned and NOTHING!
They just do not know how lucky they are that their DISH building is so F'n far away; it would not pay to have a local building in my area!

I know some people can have very bad reactions to them....I've seen it....

me...meh...same as stings wasp...bee...nettles....hardly any reaction

but then I grew up being stung, nettled, bitten by every blood sucker going.....

My ex got bitten on the leg. It got infected and really swelled up. It was a long battle but sadly in the end... The fly died.
