Mum Claims To Have Captured Ghost On Baby Monitor Footage Of Sleeping Daughter

A mum got a fright when she spotted a strange shape hovering over her daughter'scot on her baby monitor screen.
Jade Yates shared the recording above on Facebook, to get her friends' opinions on the mysterious apparition.
"I won't be sleeping very well tonight," she wrote. "Who believes in ghosts? I didn't until about five mins ago."
Yates explained that the video showed her daughter Ruby sleeping in the front top left of the cot, in her room with the door shut, when nobody else was in the room.
"Well so I thought. You make up your own mind. One freaked out mumma right here," she added.
Rather than soothe the unsettled mother's fears, initial responses to the post claimed they could see not one, but two ghosts in the clip: "An old lady and a younger girl with a side fringe".

It looks like a reflection of something to me.

Would not a normal maternal reaction be to check immediately on your baby if you thought something was untoward? She says she watched the image for 20 minutes.
If it was a ghost it's just as well it was a friendly one.

Seems they are missing one plausible option, it's the baby herself.  We have no idea where the spirit of life (self-awareness) comes from, and it seems implausible that there is a transition from material to cognitive (at least we do not know of a connection).

If, as some theories suggest, the spirit comes from outside the matter of our bodies, then it is plausible that the spirit goes and visits other places during sleep...particularly during infancy, when the spirit is new, perhaps trying to adjust to a material body.

This is uncharted area where we just don't know anything.  But this clip looks a lot like the aura psychology images that have been developed in experiments at UCLA, where a man with an amputated arm still shows the arm in existence after surgery, in aura imagery.
