They are making a movie about Australia best Churchmen. this guy in should be in line for a modern saint.

It’s this recent history that hangs over In Bob We Trust, Lyn-Maree Milburn’s terrific salute to the reluctantly retiring Father Bob Maguire, famous in Melbourne for his indefatigable attitude and open approach to the media (and throughout the rest of Australia for being John Safran’s Sunday night triple j sidekick). The Church attempted to force Maguire into retirement from his South Melbourne parish in 2009, despite the wishes of the then 75-year-old priest and his legion of supporters; many other churchmen had stayed on beyond the standard age of retirement, so why not him? The Melbourne Archdiocese, though, would only offer a relatively brief stay of execution, finally forcing Bob out in the early months of 2012.
