Meh, money and kids have never been big priorities for me, to be frank. I'd actually prefer to give up on the idea of a "career" entirely and just scrape money together from multiple sources, which is a much more realistic idea now that you don't have to slave away for some huge company in order to get health insurance Smile

On the day I turned 40 it was fine. On 40 + 1 day it started to sink in that I was now on a home run and thinking that maybe this was just a trial run for the real life that awaits me in the afterlife. It's weird, I feel it sometimes, but not others. Like this morning, when I thought about turning 40, I had this sudden, almost undeniable urge to drive no faster than 30 mph and pay for everything with checks. It passed pretty quickly, though.
