Bomb Gaza: the 'disgusting' games on Google's app store

Smartphone games such as Gaza Assault: Code Red are available openly on the store, where the player takes control of an Israeli drone equipped with “powerful weapons” over Gaza. A description of the Android game says: “Terrorist cells are launching rockets into your country, do you have what it takes to protect your citizens?” The software allows users to play for first five levels for free, but then charges for a full version.
Another game, which is free to download, is called simply "Bomb Gaza". The game's logo includes an F16 fighter jet, as used by Israel's military, and the description tells users that they must "drop bombs and avoid killing civilians". The game was added to the Play store on July 29 and has already been downloaded between 500 and 1,000 times.

Good point, does anybody think the Play Store would keep a game where you played a Hamas militant shooting Israelis?

Becoming the bad guy in a game is one of the things a culture does to dehumanize another culture:
