The Chicago Cubs made franchise history in the early Wednesday hours, beating the Colorado Rockies 4-3. But it wasn't the score that made history, just how long it took the team to win the game.
The game, which started at 7:07 p.m. Tuesday, lasted 6 hours and 27 minutes. That surpasses a record in 1982, when the Cubs played the Dodgers in a game that took six hours and 10 minutes.
