Well, they didn't. Mexico was ahead until the last 2 minutes. Then the officials became worried a European team would lose, and they stepped in.

I didn't know you call a foul over stepping on shoelaces. lol

Yeah I was watching that game and that was never a penalty...shocking decision.

Quill, the Mexican team were really unlucky there and they were hard done by with that penalty decision so late in the game. Robben made the most of that - there was minimal contact and he went over like he had been shot by a sniper in the crowd.

Aye, me too Irn...he threw himself to the deck more than once , that was a poor decision , as you say it was minimal contact, very minimal.
