Thought it might be fun to share some common misconceptions we've heard of ...

* Sitting close to the TV doesn't harm your vision. (Also, wearing glasses doesn't make your eyes weaken.)

* Returning a lost baby bird to its nest is perfectly fine; its mother won't "smell the human" on it and reject it.

* Coffee will not "stunt" a child's growth, and you can safely consume more than four cups per day with no risk of high blood pressure.

* There is no solid evidence that mobile phone use promotes brain tumors.

But there is also nothing to show that mobile phones are 100% harmless.

True -- some studies have been "suggestive" (my favorite kind of study, actually).

My theory is that as more research is done, some people will be shown to be at some risk from mobile phone use.
