OK, let me spell it out for you. In just the third paragraph, the article says:

President Ahmadinejad, questioned by students in New York two months ago about the executions, dodged the issue by suggesting that there were no gays in his country.

That was my first clue that this was a very old article, because I'manutjob didn't say Iran has no gay people "two months ago," he said it years ago. It was pretty big news: http://abcnews.go.com/US/story?id=3642673

I think your question is simplistic (no big surprise). I believe there are Muslims who believe the teachings of Islam require them to kill gay people and Muslims who don't believe that; just as there are Christians with the same mindset:

While he said he and Paul disagree on gay rights, noting that Paul recently voted for repealing Don’t Ask Don’t Tell, he supported the campaign because he believed Paul’s federalist take on the Constitution would allow states more latitude to implement fundamentalist law. Especially since under Kayser’s own interpretation of the Constitution there is no separation of Church and State.

Even Saudi..less oppressive than Iran are still behind the times, I think they are bike and evil...

I would sooner have 10 million gay people in this country than just one of that oppressive evil type.

Typo error with the word white!...

Killers in jail often pretend to have become good citizens to qualify for parole, and telling them as long as they believe in God and will be forgiven only encourages them to do so again and justifies their actions , so they think.

If someone murdered your kid( heaven forbid) I doubt you would be so forgiving just because they said they believed in God after the murder, it's a bollocks excuse to justify murder.
