Ilford stabbing: Teenager knifed to death as 15-year-old arrested on suspicion of murder

A

teenager was stabbed to death in Ilford in the early hours of Thursday as police arrested a 15-year-old on suspicion of murder.

The Met Police said officers were called to reports of a fight taking place on Harrow Road just before 4am.

A male, believed to be 18, was found with stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 4.27am.

A 15-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of murder. He was taken to an east London police station where he remains.

We need more stop and search, and immediate prison sentence of 3 months if caught carrying a knife, then doubling every time caught again carrying a knife.

Ilford is a rough area. I just don’t understand these teens that seem to kill without any thought.

Another young life taken too soon.
