Charlie Watts has died at age 80.  He was original known as a jazz drummer, but then hooked up with the Rolling Stones.  Amid all the frenetic antics of Keith Richards and Mick Jagger, one often caught a glimpse of the quiet Watts' bemused smile as he watched and drummed.

He kept out of the gossip columns and by all accounts led a fairly sensible life in a crazy world.
Lots of love for him, everyone who knew him coming forwards to say what a real gent he was.

RIP Charlie Watts.

Seems to have been a really nice person. Married in 1963 and still married to the same woman 57 years later.
