He, with his partner Tommy Cannon epitomized northern humour.
They were still performing and bringing joy to many....I saw them live in the 70's, when Bobby emerged from the audience in an old mac, heckling Tommy, who was performing on stage as a solo singer, no one had heard of them back then, so it was very original....they were a very funny act.

RIP Bobby Ball. x

And they both appeared on Lee Mac's 'Not going out'... Bobby Ball played Lee's dad.
